For most workshops, you don't need to bring anything. We'll provide all the necessary materials. If specific items are needed, they'll be noted in the workshop description. If you'd like, you're welcome to bring your own pictures, magazines, or photos.

If you've booked a workshop but are unexpectedly unable to attend, the following terms and conditions apply: Cancel more than two weeks in advance, and you'll receive a 50% refund. Cancel up to seven business days in advance, and you'll receive a 25% refund. Cancel after that, and unfortunately, I can't offer a refund. Send me a message, and I'll arrange a discount on a new workshop or something from my webshop.

This means that the riso print workshop that day is almost full, except for 1 spot. If you prefer to follow a riso workshop together, you can choose another date from the list. Then you can still book two people (or more) at the same time for the riso print workshops.

Yes, I'm happy to offer private workshops! These can be for one person or a group of five or more. The cost ranges from €50 to €60 per person, excluding VAT (21% VAT, 9% VAT for those under 18). For smaller groups, the cost per person increases. Email me to schedule a date. For special occasions like parties, I can customize the workshop. Private workshops are also suitable for team building and for children aged 10 and up. A private workshop for one person costs €300 excluding VAT and lasts three hours. You'll learn all about the riso printer and go home with a custom-designed print.

You can prepare something if you'd like, but you don't have to! All materials are available in the studio, as is plenty of inspiration. If you do want to prepare something, you can print out images you'd like to use, make a sketch, or bring some inspiration along.

Yes, you can simply park on the street. Paid parking is available from Monday to Saturday and free on Sundays. Completely free parking is a bit further out, and you'd have to walk a bit. There's almost always space on the street itself, so you don't need to find a special parking garage.

Hi! No it's completely okay if you don't speak Dutch. I often give my riso workshops in English if there are people that don't speak the language. I really understand that Utrecht is a very multicultural and international city, so I want to spread the joy of risoprinting with many international people as well :)

Thank you for considering giving someone a workshop as a gift! The gift certificates are valid for the workshop and can be ordered online. You'll receive a unique code by email that you can enter when booking a workshop. This means you won't have to pay anything for the workshop itself! You can't redeem this gift certificate for cash if you decide you don't like the workshop. Unfortunately, gift certificates are non-refundable. They are valid forever and won't expire (unless I stop teaching workshops).You can also buy a physical gift card. Simply purchase the digital gift card and add the physical gift card to your cart via the "shop" page. It will then be mailed to you.

The workshops are suitable from around age 8, provided they are a bit creative and enjoy doing it. From age 10, they really understand the process well, but the workshops are also perfectly manageable for younger ages. For those younger than 10, it is mainly about the 'crafting' and the process, less about the risograph printing itself. So they often still find it very enjoyable.

Unfortunately I do not accept returns. If you buy a print and it's disappointing, you can send me a message so we can work it out together. If something went wrong in the post or if the print arrived damaged, please send a message to info@ellistolsma.nl.

After your order, I will ensure that your package is shipped within 4 working days. Once your package has been shipped, you can expect your print to be delivered to your home within 3-5 days if you live in the Netherlands. If you live in Europe you can expect your package in 1-2 weeks. If you live outside Europe, this will be between 1 to 4 weeks, depending on where you live. Please allow 1-4 working days for handling and for your item(s) to start the shipping process. Once your item has started shipping, the expected delivery time is 1-2 weeks if you live in Europe. Outside of Europe please consider 1-4 weeks shipping time, the post at the moment has a lot of delays, so give it time, your package will probably arrive but a bit later!

If you live in Europe, you don't have to pay customs duties. If you live outside of Europe, I'll need to fill out a customs form. Small orders usually clear customs without extra charges, but this isn't guaranteed!

Yes, I offer discounts! For those on a lower income, there's a "low income" option for most workshops and courses. Sign up for the newsletter and receive a code for a 10% discount. Are you an artist or creative entrepreneur? Then check out https://werktuigppo.nl for subsidies for creative development, such as my riso courses.

The low income option is entirely up to someone to decide for themselves, I do not check this and it is based on 'good faith'. I understand that some people sometimes have a good fixed income but for example an expensive mortgage, or very expensive childcare etc. So it is mainly about what someone has 'extra' to spend on something like that. I want to make the workshops and courses available to everyone, because being creative is important 🙂. I do assume that you fill it in honestly, and that you know for yourself whether you really have a low income or not.And of course a student is when you are a student! :)

If you're using your U-pass, you can use your credit for my workshops. Book a workshop and select "Pay with U-pass." You'll pay a small deposit to prevent cancellations, and you'll pay the remainder during the workshop with your U-pass.
