Remember this ice cream? Super nostalgic & it was always a surprise to discover what was in the treasure chest! :) (no idea anymore if the ice cream was tasty 😂) With this print it is no surprise that your wall will look even cozier!!
This print is made with 3 bright riso colours: aqua blue, yellow and neon pink. The print is printed on 250 grams biotop paper of A5 size. Each print is a unique version due to the riso print technique that is used.
Treasure chest ice cream illustration A5 riso print
For each print I use a Japanese printing technique called riso printing. This technique uses an environmentally friendly and rice-based ink which results in the fluorescent and cheerful hues that bring the prints to life. Because each color is a separate layer that goes through the riso printer, the layer sometimes shifts and each print has its own unique texture and character, making each print original and just a little bit different. It is a sustainable and unique way of printing
