A fun experimental zine. I made a lot of weird candies with the 3D tool in Illustrator and decided to riso print them. This is a catalogue of my weird Willy Wonka-esque riso print candy world.

For each print I use a Japanese printing technique called riso printing. This technique uses an environmentally friendly and rice-based ink which results in the fluorescent and cheerful hues that bring the prints to life. Because each color is a separate layer that goes through the riso printer, the layer sometimes shifts and each print has its own unique texture and character, making each print original and just a little bit different. It is a sustainable and unique way of printing
