Join us for a creative, botanical illustration workshop in Utrecht where we'll explore the beauty of flowers and design some cheerful riso prints. This workshop is perfect for beginners who want to explore their creativity, illustrate and use plants, and learn the riso printing process. No experience with illustrating or printing is required. In this workshop, you will: • Explore my studio garden! Be inspired by a selection of beautiful flowers and botanical references. We'll pick plants and flowers and create our artwork outdoors (weather permitting, otherwise, indoors). • Create collages with flowers and images from flower books. • Or create your own floral illustrations using your favorite medium: you can paint with watercolors, use botanical books, draw, and incorporate real flowers into your collage work. • Learn the basics of riso printing, a creative printing technique. • Create a unique and colorful riso print of flowers. What do you get? ✨ A print run of 10 prints of your own botanical design (great to give away or hang up!) ✨ Snacks and personal guidance. ✨ A scanned version of your print (great for digital use or sharing online) (this is only if the workshop doesn't run overtime!) ✨ Personal guidance and step-by-step instructions on riso printing ✨ Snacks and drinks, and a very cozy atmosphere in the center of Utrecht ✨ Hopefully, a little sunshine! Join us for a summery and playful workshop where you can unleash your creativity, connect with other creatives, and experience the joy of bringing flowers to life through riso printing! This riso printing workshop lasts a total of 3 hours. You can also book a private workshop upon request if you prefer to print with a group of friends, your company, or all by yourself! The regular price for the workshop is €55. As a student (or if you have a low income), you get a discount and pay €50. You can also pay with your U-pas.
