Would you like to design your own notebook? In this workshop, you'll use riso printing to create the cover of your notebook. You'll learn not only the techniques of riso printing but also how to transform your design into a handmade notebook. Create your own riso-printed notebook: great as a personal journal, sketchbook, or personalized gift. We'll start by designing the cover, where you'll use riso printing and can choose from various creative techniques like drawing or collage. There's also room to personalize your notebook by adding pages from old riso prints (misprints), creating a playful and colorful interior. During the design process, we'll work completely analogously with: • Collage or illustration: Use markers or old magazines and cutting and tearing techniques to create two attractive A6-sized notebook covers. • Analog scanning techniques: We use the riso printer's scanner to convert your design into a riso version. • Two layers of riso printing: Choose two cheerful colors (you can choose from 9 colors: red, fluorescent pink, aqua blue, medium blue, green, orange, yellow, black, and teal!). What do you get? ✨ Practical guidance and explanations for assembling your notebook. ✨ Snacks and personal guidance. ✨ A stack of fun misprints to complement and brighten up the inside of your notebook. ✨ Two very nice, personalized notebooks, each with 28 writable pages and two unique covers. ✨ Snacks and drinks, and a very cozy atmosphere in the center of Utrecht. ✨ Background music playing from a nice old record player ;) This riso printing workshop lasts a total of 3 hours. You can also book a private workshop upon request if you'd prefer to print with a group of friends, your company, or all by yourself! The regular price for the workshop is €55. Students (or those on a low income) receive a discount, paying €50. You can also pay with your U-pas (U-pass). You'll first pay a €15 deposit, and then the rest with your U-pas.
