Make your own riso notebook workshop

Would you like to design your own notebook? In this workshop, you will get to work with riso printing to create the front cover of your notebook. You will learn not only the techniques of riso printing, but also how to transform your design into a handmade notebook. Put together your own riso print notebook: perfect as a personal diary, sketchbook, or personalized gift. We start by designing the front cover, where you will get to work with riso printing and can choose from various creative techniques such as drawing or collage. Additionally, there is room to make your notebook even more personal by adding pages from old riso prints (misprints), creating a playful and colorful interior. During the design process, we will work entirely analogously with: • Collage or illustration: Work with markers or old magazines and cutting and tearing techniques to create two fun notebook covers in A6 format. • Analog scanning techniques: We use the scanner of the risograph printer to convert your design into a risograph version. • Two layers of risograph print: Choose two cheerful colors yourself (you have a choice of 9 colors: red, fluorescent pink, aqua blue, medium blue, green, orange, yellow, black, and teal!). What do you get? ✨ Practical guidance and explanation on assembling your notebook. ✨ A stack of fun misprints to fill out and brighten up the inside of your notebook. ✨ Two very nice, personalized notebooks, each with 28 writable pages and two unique covers. ✨ Small snacks and drinks and a veeeery cozy atmosphere in the center of Utrecht. ✨ Background music coming from a nice old record player ;) This risograph print workshop lasts a total of 3 hours. You can also book a private workshop on request if you prefer to print with a group of friends, your company, or all by yourself! The standard price for the workshop is €55. As a student (or if you have a low income), you receive a discount and pay €45. You can also pay with the U-pas; in that case, you pay a 15 deposit first, and the rest with the U-pas.
