Wat houdt de workshop in?

This is a fun and creative beginner-friendly workshop based in Utrecht to come and risograph print illustrative cards. Great for giving to friends and family, or for wishing someone a happy birthday, Christmas, Valentine's Day, a birth, a wedding, or whatever you like. We will get to work with markers, old magazines, collage, and the scanner of the risograph printer. No preparation is necessary, although you are always welcome to bring your own magazines, photos, illustrations, and text. No laptop or digital media needed, just your creativity and enthusiasm! During the workshop, you will get to work creating a collage or illustration, which we will convert into a risograph print. We do this entirely analog, and you don't even need any experience with being creative, drawing, or illustrating to create something beautiful. We will get to work entirely analog with: • Collage or illustration: Work with markers or old magazines and cutting and tearing techniques to create four fun cards in A6 format. • Analog scanning techniques: We use the scanner of the risograph printer to convert your design into a risograph version. • Two layers of risograph print: Choose two cheerful colors yourself (you have a choice of 9 colors: red, fluorescent pink, aqua blue, medium blue, green, orange, yellow, black, and teal!). What do you get? ✨ 20 of your self-made cards (4 different designs, so 10 of each design) on thick A6 Biotop paper ✨ Coffee biscuits, drinks, and personal guidance. ✨ Scanned versions of your cards (handy for digital use or sharing online) (this is only if the workshop does not run over!) ✨ Personal guidance and step-by-step explanation of risograph printing ✨ Small snacks and drinks and a veeeery cozy atmosphere in the center of Utrecht ✨ Background music coming from a nice old record player ;) This risograph print workshop lasts a total of 3 hours. You can also book a private workshop on request if you prefer to print with a group of friends, your company, or all by yourself! The standard price for the workshop is €53.00. As a student (or if you have a low income), you receive a discount and pay €42.00. You can also pay with the U-pas; in that case, you first pay a €15 deposit (as a guarantee that you will actually show up) and the rest with the U-pas. Please check the FAQ for details.
