Do you always see fun riso posters online and would you like to create your own design? Then join this illustration workshop in Utrecht, where we'll design a cheerful poster together that you can hang at home or perhaps even hang around town to inspire people! We'll work with markers, collage, and illustration, and I'll help you create your own design step by step. Whether you're just starting out or already have some experience, this workshop is suitable for everyone. What will we do? We'll work together on designing your poster. I'll teach you how to set up an A3 poster and how to create your own design using riso printing and collage. You don't need any digital skills; we'll work with a scanner, analog techniques, and your own creativity. During this workshop, we'll use markers and collage to create unique lettering and illustrations. We'll also use stamps, cut-out letters, and other materials to create a cool poster. We'll finish with riso printing your poster. This gives your design an immediate, beautiful result, creating a lovely graphic effect with a unique texture and vibrant colors. This workshop is both creative and relaxing. There's no pressure to create something perfect; it's about an afternoon of creative fun. I'll guide you through the process, so you feel comfortable, whether you already have experience with illustration or are simply curious about riso printing. What will you receive? • All the materials you need for a collage or drawing: books, magazines, glue, scissors, ink, stamps, markers, and paint. • You'll receive 10 printed versions of your riso print, in three colors. You can choose from 9 colors: orange, yellow, fluorescent pink, aqua blue, green, medium blue, teal, red, and black! • Snacks and drinks. • Professional guidance during the design and riso printing process. • A fun and relaxed atmosphere, with no pressure. • Background music playing on a nice old record player ;) This riso printing workshop lasts a total of 3 hours. You can also book a private workshop upon request. The regular price for the workshop is €50. Students (or those on a low income) receive a discount and pay €45. You can also pay with your U-pas (U-pass); in that case, you pay a €15 deposit and the remainder with your U-pas. Check the FAQ for more information. I hope to see you in the studio soon.
