Do you always see nice riso posters online and would you like to create your own design? Then join this illustration workshop in Utrecht, where we will design a cheerful poster together that you can hang at home or perhaps even hang in the city to inspire people! We will get to work with markers, collage, and illustration, and I will help you create your own design step by step. Whether you are just starting out or already have some experience, this workshop is suitable for everyone. What will we be doing? We will get to work together on designing your poster. I will teach you how to set up an A3 poster and how to create your own unique design using riso printing and collage. You don't need any digital knowledge; we will work with a scanner, analog techniques, and your creativity. During this workshop, we will use markers and collage to create unique lettering and illustrations. We will also use stamps, cut-out letters, and other materials to make a cool poster. We will finish by riso printing your poster. This gives your design an immediate beautiful result, creating a lovely graphic effect with a unique texture and vibrant colors. This workshop is creative and relaxing. There is no pressure to create something perfect; it is simply about enjoying an afternoon of creative activity. I will guide you through the process so that you feel at ease, whether you already have experience with illustration or are simply curious about riso printing. What do you receive? • All the materials you need for a collage or drawing: books, magazines, glue, scissors, ink, stamps, markers, and paint. • You will receive 10 printed versions of your riso print, in three colors. You have a choice of 9 colors: orange, yellow, fluorescent pink, aqua blue, green, medium blue, teal, red, and black! • Coffee and biscuits and something to drink. • Professional guidance during the design and riso printing process. • Lots of fun and a relaxed atmosphere with no pressure. • Background music coming from a nice old record player ;) This risograph print workshop lasts a total of 3 hours. You can also book a private workshop upon request. The standard price for the workshop is €55. As a student (or if you have a low income), you receive a discount and pay €48.
