Delve deeper into riso printing with this digital (but studio-based!), creative riso printing course in Utrecht, perfect for those who would like to gain more knowledge of riso printing. Are you interested in riso printing and want to improve your own prints? Then you can register here for the next step in your riso printing process with this course in Utrecht. In this course, you will learn more riso techniques such as CMYK printing, screen adjustments, and color mixing. The course consists of four 3-hour lessons, each from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. In the first two lessons, we'll work with two-color printing, creating several prints of your own illustration. The last two lessons will work with 3 to 4 colors, where we'll also discuss how to print a photo with the riso printer as accurately as possible. This course is technical, yet also open-ended, playful, and experimental. In this course, you will learn: • How to create an illustration with riso printing techniques in mind • How to digitally separate colors for riso printing • How to send a PDF to a riso printer and how to configure it in various ways • How to mix different riso inks (you can choose from 8 colors!) and experiment with the results What do you need? • A laptop or tablet with ProCreate, Photoshop, or Affinity (basic knowledge is sufficient) • A little basic knowledge of riso printing • Enough creativity and the desire to experiment with riso printing! From setting up your design to printing your final work, this course offers a deeper understanding of the riso printer's capabilities. At the end of the course, you will receive all the experiments you conducted during the lessons, as well as a beautiful final edition of 30 official prints on 250 gsm Biotop paper, which we will number and sign. You will receive a total of: • 30 numbered riso prints on 250 gsm Biotop paper • 10 riso masters per lesson for experimenting • 20 90 gsm Biotop paper sheets per lesson for experimenting • All color swatches for the riso printer • A wealth of useful riso knowledge and guidance This course doesn't have any scheduled dates yet.
